BPL Picks -- Books selected by our fantastic staff.
Lexile-Palooza -- If your child has a Lexile score of 1,000 or higher this is the site for you. A list of books in our Children's & YA/Adult sections that meet that criteria.
Novelist K-8 -- Another wonderful resource to help you find the find the perfect book. This site is directly connected to our catalog and includes Lexiles too!

Freegal: Free and legal music for you to keep. You'll find everything from Elvis to children's music, to today's best artists. 3 songs/per library card/week.

Tours -- We offer staff-led tours. For more details, ask a staff member.
All Grades: See our amazing collection of historical documents and photographs online at the “Brownsburg Then and Now” collection. Use the collection to assist in meeting research, history, government, society, and social study skills. For Upper Grades: Use the “A Look at Library History” Field Trip, for additional information addressing History, Government, and Community standards. For Lower Grades: Use the “Virtual Field Trip” for a trip back in time to address History, Community, and Social Studies standards.
Author Studies & School Visits --
Would you like to take an in-depth look at an author or illustrator? Or have something else explained? We'll come to you! Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a visit today.
Assignment Alert Form -- Do you have a big assignment coming up for your students. Simply fill out our Assignment Alert form and we'll help pull resources together for your students to use.
Ellison Die Cut Machine -- Save yourself time and money by using our Ellison Die Cut machine. This is a great tool for VBS, 4-H projects, scrapbooking, and more. It's just $3 for the day (unlimited usage).
Hold Service -- If you're a busy mom or need items pulled together to use in your classroom, then be sure to take advantage of our free Hold Service. Simply login to your library account and start searching. Find an item or items you need and then just hit the "place request" button. If the item(s) are in we'll pull them for you and put them up on our Holds Shelf. Items are pulled daily at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
